Police have slammed cold-hearted crooks who broke into Tunbridge Wells crematorium.
The burglars broke into a lock-up adjacent to the crematorium at the site on Benhall Mill Road at some point between 4pm on October 17 and 8.30am the following morning.
They pinched a petrol lawnmower and 44 litres of red diesel from a fuel tank.
DS Martin Foord of Kent Police said: “Targeting this site is particularly callous, showing utter disrespect for mourning families.”

21/10/2011 Thieves have stolen 66 bronze plaques from a south London crematorium to sell for scrap, a council has said.
Staff at Croydon Crematorium, located within Mitcham Road Cemetery, discovered the theft on Tuesday morning, Croydon Council said.
The council said securing the site, where 150 plaques were stolen in June, was "difficult".
